March Newsletter

Welcome to my March newsletter, I hope you have some lovely plans for the bank holiday weekend! After a busy start to the year creating engagement & wedding rings, I’m delighted to share my favourites, please take a look and hopefully gain some inspo!

Images: Bespoke Diamond Cluster ring,  followed by a shaped wedding ring, made from my clients’ original wedding band

We began C’s bespoke journey with sketches for a new ring that would be both an engagement & eternity ring. The finished piece is a real showstopper, with a beautiful half carat diamond in the center - the shape of the design led us to create an updated wedding ring to sit against it. I used my client’s original wedding ring, crafting a new top half that fit against her diamond ring. I also have to mention the family hand photo, this really tugged on my heart!

Pear Shape Petrol Blue Sapphire with grain set diamonds

If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll know I’m a huge Sapphire fan, so choosing the stones to show my client brought me so much joy. J loved how the colours changed within the stone, the petrol blue colour is so unique and of course stunning. Platinum is my clients’ favourite metal, but it also made so much sense that this sapphire would sit within these grey tones. This one deserves two final photos, so here you go!

Oval vivid Blue Sapphire surrounded by lab grown diamonds, set in 18ct Yellow Gold & Platinum

Now this one will always have my heart, the oval blue Sapphire was the worth the time spent finding it. The vivid blue colour is so sought after, with many blue sapphires having the darker tones, this stone really was such a find. The regal air that surrounds this piece just suits it’s wearer so well, her fiancé designed the piece with me in secret and I think you can really tell how much consideration and love went into this.

Yellow gold ring set with natural white diamonds

It was time for a wedding ring upgrade for my client, I made up a silver sample to try with her engagement ring. Once we were all happy, I melted down her original wedding ring, something that was really important to her. The new diamonds gave W the glitz she was craving, I hope she’s still loving this absolute delight of a ring.

There’s many more I could share, but I must crack on with making April’s commissions. Thank you for taking a look, I’ll be appearing in your inboxes’ again soon!

  Warm regards,
